Manuel Mascarell is the most famous Spanish salsa instructor and dancer. Since 1998 he has performed and given lectures in more than 300 international salsa congresses and festivals all over the world: in the USA, Puerto Rico, South America, Dominican Republic, entire Europe, Africa and Asia. He has been awarded several times for his pedagogic work and is considered to be one of the best international salsa instructors of today.
Musician, singer, professor, dancer, choreographer… Mascarell cooperates with numerous TV channels in Europe on a regular basis. In 1999 he founds and then works as a director of Mambo Swingers Dance Company, one of the path-finding dance Latin troupes in Europe. He is also one of the greatest salsa promoters in the world and organiser of various international salsa events.
He is currently travelling the world teaching a variety of salsa styles: Salsa Los Angeles Style, Mambo New York Style, Salsa Puertorriqueña, Rueda de casino, Cha Cha, Salsa Cross Body Style, Salsa Cubana, Bachata, Men's Style, Footwork, Tempo and Theory of Music, Music Interpretation, Social Dances, History of Music, Leading and Following, choreography workshops, acrobatics and combinations for show performances, etc. These are only some of the subjects of specialized workshops where he uses special pedagogic methods for teaching.
He has recently published a collection of 9 DVDs dedicated to Salsa and Cha Cha Cha. He also organises on a regular basis Salsa Master Week workshops in Valencia, Spain, and Salsa Master Weekends all over the world.
